Heidelberg SPECTRALIS HRA+OCT
The SPECTRALIS® HRA+OCT is an ophthalmic imaging platform with state-of-the-art upgradable modular design. This platform allows clinicians to configure each SPECTRALIS to the specific diagnostic workflow in the practice or clinic.
Multimodal imaging options include: OCT, multiple scanning laser fundus imaging modalities, widefield and ultra-widefield, scanning laser angiography and OCT angiography.
The OCT2 Module is the ideal basis for advanced imaging modalities such as OCT angiography and advanced glaucoma diagnostics. Since it can be added to any existing upgradeable SPECTRALIS system, the OCT2 Module is a sound investment for the future.
The SPECTRALIS® MultiColor Module uses three laser wavelengths simultaneously to provide diagnostic images that show distinct structures at different depths within the retina. The high-resolution, detailed MultiColor images can highlight structures and pathologies not visible on ophthalmoscopy and fundus photography. MultiColor images may even be acquired in patients with cataracts or nystagmus. Available only on the SPECTRALIS® platform, the combination of MultiColor with OCT brings a new dimension of detail and versatility to ophthalmic imaging.
BluePeak autofluorescence is a non-invasive scanning laser fundus imaging modality that reveals metabolic stress in the retina using lipofuscin as an indicator. BluePeak images can reveal RPE and photoreceptor cell malfunctions, offering diagnostic insights into retinal conditions such as AMD and hereditary diseases.
The SPECTRALIS®OCT Angiography Module delivers high-resolution OCTA images with a lateral resolution of 5.7 μm/pix. Combined with the precision of TruTrack Active Eye Tracking, the OCTA Module enables fine capillary networks to be visualized in great detail.
SPECTRALIS® scanning laser angiography can be conducted with either fluorescein or ICG dye. Both modes produce detailed, high-resolution images and video sequences that show vessel filling, flow, and leakage. For workflow efficiency and diagnostic precision, FA and ICGA can be acquired simultaneously and in combination with OCT imaging. The optional Ultra-Widefield Angiography Module delivers scanning laser angiography images from the macula to the periphery for more comprehensive retinal examinations.
